American Sculptor who was one of the most prominent of his generation. He improved the lamination process by created the hollow-core technique.
He was good at basketball and won a scholarship to North Dakota State Normal and Industrial School in Ellendale, North Dakota.
His best known work was in wood and involved the detailed process of lamination.
