Southpaw starting pitcher that was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers during the first round of the 2019 Major League Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended Mississippi State University where he pitched for three seasons. In 2019, he was named the SEC Pitcher of the Year as well as the National Pitcher of the Year.
He initially began his professional career playing for the AZL Brewers. He was later promoted to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
He made his official major league debut pitching against the Chicago Cubs on May 30, 2022. He pitched just 2.2 innings and he recorded four strikeouts. His baseball fame has earned him a strong following on his personal ethansmallz Instagram account.
