Eddie Irvine was born on November 10, 1965 in Ireland and is a former race car driver who competed in Formula One from 1993 to 2002. He began his career in Formula Ford and went on to become one of the most successful drivers in the sport, winning four races and finishing in the top three in the championship standings four times. He also won the 1999 24 Hours of Le Mans and was inducted into the Irish Motorsport Hall of Fame in 2011.
