She attended Centennial High School located in Coquitlam in 1977 and worked at a Dairy Queen when she sent nude photos to Playboy Magazine and signed a contract.
The book The Killing of the Unicorn by Peter Bogdanovich was based on her life. Bogdanovich ended up marrying her sister.
She married club promoter, Paul Snider, in 1979. He brutally murdered her after having marital problems with the troubled starlet.
