Portuguese model and business woman who is known for having won the Ford Models Supermodel of the World pageant in 1997. She is also known for being the founder and designer of Dfit apparel.
Having won the Ford Models competition at the age of fourteen, she began modeling professionally and moved to New York. She began as a brand ambassador for Ana Salazar. In 2015, she started her career in television as host of the Pit Stop program at RTP International.
She is also a writer who is known for having written and edited several children's books including The Carousel of Colors, The Book of Vowels, and Tiaguinho.
She was born and raised in Coimbra, Portugal and married race car driver Tiago Monteiro.
She opened up Bar 47 in Lisbon with fellow model Liliana Aguiar.
