Actor, filmmaker, and author best known as the son of Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. He appeared in the 1978 film, King, and the 2002 film, The Rosa Parks Story.
He left Morehouse College to pursue a career in film.
He was sued by family members for his alleged misuse use of funds from the Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King estates.
