Thank you all for the love, support and blessings. I’m so very proud & humbled to receive an OAM in the #QueensBirthdayHonours for services to the multicultural community of Victoria. The honour is not just for me but all the amazing people I’m fortunate to work with. Made my parents, family & community proud ❤.
With NATIONAL FAMILIES WEEK from the 15th-21st of May, as a parent, I know how important it is to have the support of a community to provide the best network possible for my family. There are many types of families in our society but the key to making them stronger is connected communities. It is the capacity for people to know what is happening around them and ask a very simple question “Is there anything I can do to help?”. If everyone offered that support to the families in their neighbourhood then we would undoubtedly have stronger communities.
Victoria’s strength is built on the cornerstone of diversity. This week 17-25 March, I join with all those celebrating cultural diversity week to ensure there is cohesive integration, collaboration, visibility and accessibility re diversity. #Multiculturalchampion #Proudtobelong
