Collegiate men's basketball head coach who had lengthy tenures at Oklahoma, Southern Methodist, New Mexico, and Baylor. He resigned as Baylor's head coach following the investigations into the murder of Baylor player Patrick Dennehy.
After finishing a Cornell Hall of Fame worthy playing career at the school, he served as an assistant coach at Army from 1967 until 1969.
He only made it as far as the Sweet 16 as the coach of the Oklahoma Sooners, failing to get further than that with any other program.
He was born in Binghamton, New York.
