After 56 years at the helm, Fayat handed off management of his international construction group to his sons, Jean-Claude and Laurent, in 2013. He's still honorary president of Bordeaux-based Fayat Group and has a hand in daily operations. Fayat owns 100% of the company with his sons. Jean-Claude is president, while Laurent is managing director. A wine lover, Fayat also owns three vineyards in Bordeaux.
