Keyboardist and French horn player most well known as one of the founding members of the Canadian indie pop rock band Stars. The band is perhaps best known for the hit singles "Dead Hearts" and "Your Ex-Lover Is Dead."
Growing up in Toronto, he and Torquil Campbell formed Stars in 1999 and began recording their debut album Nightsongs in New York City.
Two years in a row Stars was nominated for the Juno award Alternative Album of the year in 2004 and 2005.
He grew up alongside his parents and brother in Toronto, Ontario.
He is joined in Stars by Amy Millan, Torquil Campbell, Patrick McGee, and Evan Cranley.
