Chris D'Elia was born in New Jersey in March 1980. His family relocated to Los Angeles, California when Chris was 12. His father Bill D'Elia is prolific producer/director who has worked on dozens of television shows over the years. Bill D'Elia executive produced Chicago Hope, Boston Legal, Aly McBeal and How to Get Away with Murder, to name a few. His mother Ellie is an interior decorator.
Chris began acting in high school at La Cañada High School. Thanks to his dad he landed a two-episode role on Chicago Hope in 1996. He has also appeared in episodes of Get Real, Boston Legal, American Dreams, Monk, Workaholics, and Sullivan & Son. Chris' film debut came as Marc in the movie Almost in 2004.
