Best known for his storied career as a music executive. He served as the President of Epic Records, which is a division of Sony Music, between 2005 and 2008. He began his tenure with Republic Music Group in 2013 first as vice President before his eventual promotion to President in February 2016.
He first discovered his love of music at age 8 while listening to Boston radio on his old transistor radio. He subsequently graduated from Boston University's School of Management.
He has overseen a number of philanthropic efforts to fund after school music programs in public schools across the US. In 2015, he was named to Billboard's Power 100 list of influential music minds.
He and his wife Lauren have four children named Jesse, Jagger, Jade, and Jewel.
He has helped foster the careers of Ariana Grande, Lorde, and Iggy Azalea.
