She is best known for her appearance on the BBC television series 'Strictly Come Dancing'. She competed on the show for the first six seasons and became the winner of the sixth season along with her dance partner actor Tom Chambers. She quit the show after the sixth season and eventually stopped competing in dance shows; however, she has participated in tours organized by the show's producers and also acted as a judge. She worked as a model during her early life in Denmark and had trained as an estate agent as well, before relocating to Britain. She has also appeared on a number of television shows and acted in stage plays. She is the author of the autobiographical self-help book 'Strictly Inspirational' and is all set to release her second book, 'Reinvent Me'. She is currently leading a quiet life as a life coach and meditation teacher in Los Angeles. She is married to 'Hollyoaks' actor, Kevin Sacre, and is considering adopting a child together.

Love this quote! It’s so important to know that’s it’s great to be strong and equally great to be vulnerable. It’s good to allow ourselves to feel all of the feelings! We are humans not robots, we feel things!!! And one minute you can feel like you have it all together and the next minutes not so much, it’s ok. It’s how we pick ourselves up and deal with the challenges that matter! Vulnerability and compassion for yourself and others is ❤️💪and it is not to be confused for weakness! Changing your attitude or perception on something that is seemingly out of your control is 👌I teach all my clients to reframe situations daily! Reframing explained🔹 “Meaning of reframing is seeing the current situation from a different perspective, this can be really helpful in problem solving, decision making and learning. Reframing is helping you or another person to more constructively move on from a situation in which you or the other person feels stuck or confused”. Simple way to get started is🔹 Consider the one thing that is on your mind today annoying you or confusing you etc, list the words in your mind. Then reframe to How would you like to be thinking about this situation instead? With ease, confidence, compassion or calmly and with a neutral perspective etc use your words here. It’s #nationaltrainyourbrainday And that got me thinking! I know i said mind training day in the video 😀because I literally can’t stress enough how important it is to train your mind accordingly to the changes or goals you are trying to achieve in your life. Most things are possible if we train for them. Lots of people have done the “impossible” simply because they believed they could and because they got serious about their training for it in every way. For some of these people there was no way they could even consider fear or doubt to rule their lives, because it was a matter of survival and that meant to believe and commit with everything they had! When you feed your mind as mindfully as you feed your body magical things happen! I see this every single day in my coaching business. I see people take the tools, apply them and make stuff happen. And remember this magic is available to anyone who are willing to put in the hours 💪. Landing a publishing deal for me didn’t just happen, it took work, focus and believe, being part of the original cast of Strictly Come Dancing (dwts) didn’t just happen (more like 20 years of hard work for an overnight success) travelling the world for free and performing in 36 countries didn’t just happen. All of these magical moments which I have enjoyed happened for me because of 3 things, training my mind every day, having a daily gratitude practice and putting in the time! You can do it too! ❤️ #mind #mindtraining

I love learning new things about the mind and body and as a teacher I’m also constantly allowing myself to be a student! Today I learnt about the benefits of Rosemary for our health and minds and although I have always loved when Rosemary is used in dishes, when hubby cooks, I never realised, until today, the actually depth to the benefits of using Rosemary. I shall be exploring further💙 Thank you @no.1rosemarywater for enlightened me today. I love that you have created such a delicious Rosemary water which can support the body and mind. Biography/Timeline

1974

Camilla Sacre-Dallerup (born 6 April 1974) is a Danish author, life coach hypnotherapist and professional ballroom Dancer.

2003

Dallerup was born in Aalborg, where she started dancing at the age of two and a half when her mother took her to her first class. She won the Danish Junior Championships at the age of 12. Dallerup later moved to London, United Kingdom, where she lived and competed with Brendan Cole, who also became her fiancé. In 2003, Dallerup and Cole were placed third in Latin American at the UK Closed Championships, and in the top 12 of the world professionals at the open British championships. From 2004 Ian Waite has been her professional dance partner and they were placed second for Latin American at the 2005 UK Closed Championships and in the semi-final of the International championships at the Royal Albert Hall in 2004.

2004

Dallerup is best known to a wide audience for her appearances on the BBC's dance competition, Strictly Come Dancing, on which she appeared as a professional Dancer in the first six series from 2004 to 2008. She won the show for the first time in 2008, partnering Holby City actor Tom Chambers. She subsequently revealed she would not be returning to the show for the 2009 series claiming that she had made her decision before she won with Chambers. She did however go on tour with Strictly Come Dancing in early 2009 with 2008 partner Tom Chambers.

2005

In 2005, Dallerup co-hosted the CBBC show Dance Factory with Nigel Clarke and Reggie Yates. During her time as Gethin Jones' partner on Strictly Come Dancing, she made multiple appearances on Blue Peter. In 2008, she appeared as a contestant on the second series of The Underdog Show, finishing in third place.

2006

Dallerup joined a modelling agency at a very early age in Denmark. In 2006, she was the face and legs for Aristoc stockings.

2007

On 1 September 2007, Dallerup represented the UK, the host nation, at the first Eurovision Dance Contest, placing fifteenth out of sixteen couples with 18 points. In 2009, she was a judge on Skate Nation for BBC Two and CBBC.

2009

In November 2009, Dallerup entered the Australian jungle as a contestant on the ninth series of the British reality television series I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!. Dallerup quit the show after being severely weakened by exhaustion and lack of food.

2010

Dallerup married Hollyoaks actor Kevin Sacre on 29 July 2010 in a ceremony in Ibiza and the couple live between Los Angeles and Walton-on-Thames in Surrey.

2015

Watkins publishing house published Camilla's first book "Strictly Inspirational" in January 2015. It's a self-help & autobiography based on the premise, how I learnt to Dream, Act, Believe to Succeed. Available in the UK and US. Her second self-help book "Reinvent me", also published by Watkins, is available on Amazon and out July 2017.

2018

She will appear as a judge on the New Zealand version of Dancing With The Stars for its seventh season in 2018.
