Professional starting pitcher that was originally drafted by the Atlanta Braves during the fifth round of the 2020 Major League Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended the University of Texas where he played college baseball for three seasons. While at Texas, he was twice named a member of the All-Big 12 academic team.
He is a graduate of Decatur High School in Decatur, Texas. Back in high school, he was a three-sport athlete that played baseball, basketball, and golf.
He made his official major league debut pitching against the Washington Nationals on April 12, 2022. He made his second major league appearance pitching against the San Diego Padres on April 17, 2022.
