Veteran first baseman that was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers during the third round of the 2013 Major League Draft. He was later signed by the San Diego Padres in March 2022. He has also played in the Detroit Tigers and Cincinnati Reds organizations.
Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at the University of Arizona. During his sophomore season, he won the 2012 College World Series.
He made his official major league debut playing against the Pittsburgh Pirates on May 22, 2018, as a member of the Reds. He collected three hits in his official debut. His baseball fame has led him to amass more than 5,000 followers on his Instagram page.
