Rausing's father, Henry Mayne, who lived from 1891 until 1975, was well known for his landscape paintings. Rausing married Gad Rausing, with whom she had three children, Kristen, Finn, and Jorn. The couple remained married until Gad's death in 2000. Gad is best known for his ownership of the packing conglomerate company, Tetra Pak, which is the largest food packing company in the world. Founded by his father, Gad inherited half of the company when his father passed away. He then went on to purchase the other half, running it under his sole ownership.
