British Anatomist, archaeologist and scientist who rose to prominence in the early 1900s. He published a number of books and essays throughout his career, including the book The Church and Science in 1917.
He was born and raised in Mayfield Vicarage, Staffordshire.
He was the Librarian of the University Philosophical Society and he was a Fellow of the Royal Society.
His father, Samuel Allen Windle, was a Reverend.
