Armando Riesco is a highly accomplished actor, writer, and director from Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. He graduated from Northwestern University's theater department and has since worked with some of the most renowned directors in the business, including Spike Lee, Oliver Stone, and Steven Soderbergh. He has appeared in films such as Garden State and World Trade Center, and has had regular, recurring, and guest starring roles on television shows such as Power and Vinyl. He has also voiced and done motion capture for video games, and has been featured in national and international publicity campaigns for major companies. On stage, he was the title character in the Pulitzer Prize winning "Water by the Spoonful" by Quiara Hudes, for which he received a Lucille Lortel nomination. As a director and writer/producer, his first short "Remember" was an official selection at several film festivals, and his second short "The Lost Flowers" premiered at the Rincón International Film Festival in Puerto Rico. He is currently in development for a film adaptation/translation of Romeo and Juliet starring Ruben Blades.
