American theater actor best known for his roles as Crutchie in the award-winning Broadway musical Newsies and as Roberson Ay in the Broadway production and National Tour of Mary Poppins. His other productions include Seussical the Musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and High School Musical on Stage!
He graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre in 2007, having already served as an alternate for the role of Jojo in Seussical on Broadway.
After finishing his run on Newsies in 2013, he was cast to star in the title role of a musical adaptation of Tuck Everlasting, with performances scheduled first for Boston.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan. He grew up with two sisters, Tony Award nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger and playwright/actress Maggie Keenan-Bolger. He's engaged to Scott Bixby.
Among his other stage credits, he was in a production of Perez Hilton Saves the Universe for the 2008 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
