Actually, the first job that Clark had after his graduation from the University of Maryland was at this hundred-year old construction company, the George Hyman Construction Company, which later he bought, renamed, and mold into his enterprise. Now, Clark Construction stands for many famous creations, including popular places like FedEx Field outside Washington D.C., San Diego's Petco Park, Miller Park in Milwaukee, Baltimore's Camden Yards and Ravens Stadium. It also constructs airports, museums, university buildings, military bases and prisons. Recently, the company signed a mega-contract worth $1.2 billion to make a rail expansion that will connect downtown Washington, D.C. with Dulles International Airport. Moreover, A. James Clark is eminent supported of engineering education, donating a bulk of money to many schools.
