Alberto Prada Net Worth

Alberto and Marina Prada are fashion royalty, having inherited a portion of the family business founded by their grandfather in 1913. They each hold an estimated 12% stake in the company, which was taken over by their sister Miuccia and her husband Patrizio Bertelli in 1977. Bertelli took care of the business side of things while Miuccia pushed Prada into new directions, leading to the opening of their first store in New York in 1986 and the launch of their ready-to-wear women's collection and lower-end brand, Miu Miu. In 2011, the family took the company public in Hong Kong, with Miuccia and Bertelli firmly in control. Alberto Prada is not involved in running Prada SpA.
