Professional Malaysian diver who is known for competing in both the one and three meter synchronized springboard events. He has competed in Southeast Asian Games, Asian Games, and Olympic Games as well.
His first major success as a diver came in 2011 at the Southeast Asian Games in Palembang where he competed in the three meter springboard event and places third, earning him the bronze medal. His first gold came in 2013 at the Southeast Asian Games in Naypyidaw also in the three meter springboard event.
He won two gold medals at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur in 2017 including the one meter springboard and three meter synchronized springboard events.
He was born and raised in Perlis, Malaysia.
Pandelela Rinong is a fellow Malaysian diver also known for competing in the Olympic and Southeast Asian Games.
